Lately I've been getting a lot of enquiries from America. I get my fair share of hoax emails, but these ones are genuine enquiries requesting information on prices and availability. Do people not read information on websites?. My URL is a '.co.uk' suffix. The first few lines of my homepage state the general area I provide services to. In my opinion it's pretty obvious I'm a UK based business. People are strange.... :)
Anyone else get regular enquiries from way outside their service area?

I get the occasional ping from the States... turns out there's an Isle of Wight county in Virginia. Having a .com address probably doesn't help with this, but you'd think all the pricing in £££s might be a giveaway not least the logo

We had one from Norfolk last week that was actually an automated enquiry from our site, so they'd obviously read at least some of the site to get to the formmail enquiry page. Just didn't bother to find out if we covered their area.
Sent them an email telling them to look on MDD so one of you may have copped them.

Yeah, the one I sent to you, which was slightly outside my area!
I get them for all over the south for karaoke and nationally for dance floors.

I once had an enquiry about doing a gig in a pub on the moon...
...but I turned it down, as I thought it would have no atmosphere.

I've had one from Virginia previously, that could be the reason. The most recent was from New Jersey. If they'll pay for the flights, accomodation and my fee....I'm there. :D

Oh yes, which is why I'm off to Milton Keynes in November. Normal fee + full expenses - travel time by the hour, mileage, ferry, subsistence and a hotel room.
Nice!
Jeez... I must be good.
