Hi gang,

just popped my head above the parapet to say hello.

I have been mobile DJing and Karaoke-ing for 10 ish years now, so I am still much of a beginner. It was scary when I looked in my diary to see one couple that I had done a wedding for all those years ago booking me to do their latest christening party.

My new thing is a desire to go digital, using a laptop so I can play video and karaoke to punters as well as plain Audio, using something like the Numark Total control, or one of the Behringer controllers (Which have soundcards built in for monitoring.....why didn't Numark do that, instead of this Heath Robinson DJ/IO "Solution", I would pay an extra £80 on the top of the total control if I didn't have to mess about with DJ/IO....I like things simple)

anyway blah blah blah....I am going on.....

My biggest confession is that I actually enjoy playing cheese..I long for that special time of the evening when I can play Dancing queen, I'm in the mood for dancing, and wake me up before you go go. and more often than not I m dancing on a chair behind my decks at that point.

Thanks for listening.

No, it's not.................. it's when you do the wedding for that nipper you did the christening for! :omg:

As for cheese, nothing wrong there. With the right crowd you start looking for the pickled onions to go with it.

Welcome, mate, you will probably find us dodgier than you think.
