Hi All,
I've been looking at these as a way to get some "fill in" effect type of lighting. Have looked at LED Pars but wasn't impressed. If I went for it it would be a pair with controller.

Anyone using these and if so how do you find them?

having now bought a pair, for the price, deffinately go for a pair of LED PAR's - the Eurolite version from Thomann are simply great.

Will review further after my gig on Saturday!

We use the 3s on all our rigs, they do just what it sounds you want & much more. The 4s are supposed to be better but I think they look better with 3 lenses, so we went fo the 3s. Thomann do the Stairville badged version of both also an LED version, which I haven't seen in action yet. The Acme version is easy to find if you do a bit of Googleing

did a rodie job a while back and there were two icolours (the ones with 4 500watt bulbs) (sorry i don't know the lights very well) they were the only light used to light bands in a marque.

I was extremely impressed, having originally planned to buy par 56 or 64s i would now definately go for these. only problem is the power they draw.

yet very bright and very effective, colours are really bold and patterns/washes very good and easy to use

No mate, I'm going blind!

Of course I read the post! Simply offering the benefit of my knowledge. Have never tried LED can's before, but the one's I have are superb - maybe spirits would benefit from seeing other version of the LED cans - after all, I seem to remember you not being impressed to start with

I said the s2l was rubbish on the first set of Stairville ones, that's all. There's not a great deal of difference in the colours or brightness.

Spirits High wanted opinons on the Icolour, not on par cans.

Do you not find the icolours a bit power hungry?

Thanks for the input so far. I've got a gig in the Grand ballroom at the Europa hotel a week saturday and am hiring a pair of the 3's for 35quid for the day so will get hands on and make my decision!
