I've just got a new pair of multi-media speakers, and find the power claims unbelievable.
They are quoted as having a PMPO (peak music power output?) rating of 120 watts.
That sounds great, until you see the RMS rating...which is only 2 watts!!! :eek: :eek:
How many speakers can handle 60 times their RMS rating? :shrug:
Are people REALLY so gullible that they see the PMPO rating is 120 watts, think "Wow - thats a lot of power" and buy them on the strength of that?
