Midweek

8 to 11pm

TAKE THE KIT WITH YOU---PROBABLY NO LIGHTS

Bound to be difficult.

Best check power availability i remmebr one member of the forum reporting porblems with that on a river boat.

Hi, did a karaoke/disco on one a couple of weeks ago. it was on a Wednesday, same times £375. Loading was difficult and had to park about a 20 minute walk away once we had unloaded. Good night though.

I did one on a riverboat in Bath a few years back.

It went really well, though now and again the power & lights would dip suggesting not enough power, so later in the evening we used minimal lighting just in case we were sucking up to much power.

Other than that, it was great fun...but check the power out..

You wouldnt want to be Crazy K up poo creak without a padel...:)

It depends on which Pier you are going from as to what the access is like ? (experience of 5 years of doing this taught me this :D )

Thanks Ian, as it happens I now find I can "subcontract" this Barn Dance job to a good source of mine who charges normal rates.

Rather them than me--I hate going into London anyway:eek:

A collegue of mine does the smaller boats round here Alan and I'm pretty sure he get's between £200 to £250 depending on whether they need gear.
