my smoke machine ain't smokin much and my bubble machine spits out the odd solitary bubble......I was given both second hand complete with vintage fluid......can either go off?

Fluid should be fine with age I am still using a bottle of fluid i've had for 5 years. Probably just needs a clean.

Run some distilled water through the machine to keep heater block pipes clean. bubble liquid will go off you need to find the right brand to suit your machine as they vary in fluidity.

You can also add some white vinegar to the distilled water in a ratio of 1 part white vinegar to 3 parts distilled water. It helps to clear out any gunged up bits.

Run the smoke machine outside though because it doesn't smell very pleasant.

Run some proper fluid through for about 5 mins or until the smell goes away afterwards though.
