& she should have said yes, yes, yes (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/6937778.stm)

Not wishing to cast aspersions, but isn't "severe exhaustion" a euphemism for shortly to be found in the Priory?

Either that or she's taken on too many tour dates, and can't handle it.

Shame, she has a talent. Pitty it's for consumption of alcohol

Seriously, I can see it all ending in tears. Which is a shame when she's just released her best material so far

At the end of the day, these young rock and pop stars have seen some of the very best fall, or nearly fall, to the perils of drink and drugs - yet they still think they're 'cool' enough to get away with it.

Look at all the careers that drugs/booze has ruined, some of the biggest talents the world has ever known. On the flip side, controlled 'recreational use' by some artists has undoubtedly created many great tracks for us too!

Too true.

I forget the exact quote but isn't there a line in Hamlet somewhere about alcohol "giving it to you and taking it away", of course he was referring to something else, but it seems applicable here.

It was the gatekeeper, in the Scottish play, if I remember my O level years correctly.
