Well there I was last night, all setup with just the tidying to do.. and I can't find my big pile of double sided velcro strips  Had to use gaffer for everything :D which took ages and was fidly to undo everything.
And to add to that.. just doing the first dance, and one of the venue staff comes over saying theres some other lights for the back of the room (barn) to plug in.. and what does the numpty do? Unplugs the extension lead that I'm plugged into :bang:
I just pointed at him when everyone looked round at me :D

It's actually quite a nice feeling when it's totally out of your control, and the person who's fault it is, is right there...:D :D :D :D

I know.. and I still can't find them, so I must have left them behind somewhere.. :(
Lets hope to god CPC can deliver by next Saturday.. or I just don't know what I'll do :D
Although there is a silver lining.. CPC have a new product -
http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/Electrochemicals,+Adhesives+&+Service+Aids/Velcro+Fasteners/VELCRO/229016330999TN16MM/displayProduct.jsp?sku=SA01487
Cost me £11 per 4.5m for the stuff I had already!!

Yep.. its double sided and you just cut whatever lengths you want, should get plenty enough strips with 25m worth!!

B&Q & Homebase also do double sided Velcro™ on a roll (not as cheap, but in an emergency.......)

Cool.. I did try B&Q before but they only had the single sided stuff in stock.. couldn't resist buying some anyway.. sure it'll come in useful sometime. :D

You could use the sticky backed stuff at a push (I have in the past) Just stick the hooks onto the back of the eyes & there you go double sided Velcro™
