I always seem to get bookings in for the Sunday - normally weddings.

I'm also getting many bookings & requests for Sundays on bank holiday weekends.

I think it's because people who work on Saturdays can still go, and unlike a normal Sunday most people don't have to get up for work the following morning.

Weekend away. Lat time I promised a weekend off had to cover a last minute booking so this time accommodation has been booked and I'll have to endure being the happy holiday person from Friday until Monday.

Tony, I'm not getting the exact details until tomorrow night, as it's the wedding reception for the son of a couple who comes to my Tuesday pub quiz.

From memory, it's in a sports club just outside Basildon.

I'll dig out the Crash helmet & bullet proof vest just in case, though!

The trouble is that the decent money gigs are the discos on Saturday & Sunday, and I was paid for those about a month ago and have already spent the money...so it will be a bit like doing a gig & not getting paid...if you know what I mean!
