Funny that, I have a very similar gig later in the month.

I am doing Karaoke with them (had to get the Disney karaoke disks of High School Musical and Cheetah Girls 2) and they want lots of smoke and lasers during the disco part.

Not sure. All I know is that he doesn't do parties over age 10, so he'll know what to do with that age group.

dont forget the birdie song. :o . i did a school disco for about 30 kids (1 month ago) and they knew the dance but with some rude words. the parents wernt happy about but they found it funny and let it be.

Had a Google.....

A good game is to take a couple plates and fill them with whipcream. Then put a piece of bubble gum in the middle without using your hands the players will have to stick their face in the plate and find the bubble gum. Whoever finds the gum first and blows a bubble wins a prize. But, to twist it around a bit but a jelly bean or straburst in the whipcream too so it will make it harder!

No I just thought I'd make them do some for the hell of it!

We're trying to persuade the mother that they really probably won't want games at that age but she's adamant, & she wants to know how many games we will be doing, so she can buy some prizes.

I would have thought it was very simple. If you don't know what games to play, then you should have asked the mother or told her that 13 year olds don't normally have games. Simple.

Do you know any good games for 20 thirteen year old girls to play at a birthday party?

Heres two that i use....
the mummy game.....take two toilet rolls...choose two children to be the mummies and two winder uppers for each mummy........during the can can....they have to cover the mummy in toilet tissue ...then the rest have to judge which one is best mummified at the end of the song....works great with adults too!
The doggy game......demonstrate a balloon modelled dog to the 'countdown' tune (30 secs), then choose 5 or 6 children....give them a blown up modelling balloon each and play mission impossible (3 mins) for them to make a balloon....always funny to see what they end up with at the end.....also works well with adults.

I agree with Sandysounds about the mummy wrap, although I do it a little different by splitting the crowd into three teams and getting one person from each to be wrapped up by the others.

Then its a prize for best mummy, another for the person who gets out of the wrap the quickest and then one for who has the heaviest rubbish sack (and surprisingly, each team wins one of the prizes!)

Or you could use modelling balloons and have a balloon mummy game instead..

Also, do the Musical Piggies (they dance in pairs facing each other, when the music stops one runs round the other, dives in between their legs (easy you lot, they're 13!) and then jumps up in a piggie back (or if they think they will fall they are allowed to keep one leg on the floor)......

You can have the odds/evens or heads/tails game where you nominate one side of the room even and one side odd and then roll a big dice (or flip a coin) and the one it lands on are either the ones out or in - upto you....

How about the mummy game, give them all a pregnancy test kit, one of them is bound to be up the duff(or is that just round here). Yard of Blue WKD? Skinning up competition?

I find the limbo very popular, if you dont have a limbo pole set a couple of metres of rope held by two people works well. can also kill a lot of time :D

At he last one we done, they seemed to like the sing alongs like music man & superman, also steps 5678, tragedy, s club 7, red necks, gap band. and r&b.

Our average party time for under 16s is 3hrs by the time we've played a couple of games, a few party tracks, they have their nose bags, bit of chart/r&b
job done.:D :D

However, Limbo would work and also a hoola hoop competition. Also, you could try the action songs (macarena,saturday night, sexy eyes, cha cha slide etc) and have a winner for the best groover
