Mister Musicman

I recently had a request for a leaving function from a couple who were emigrating to France. They requested a French theme for the party and, as I had previously dressed the part when doing 007 Bond theme gigs and Halloween, I bought a few appropriate CD's and wore a Bretton shirt, beret, cravat and a string of onions around my neck (see the Gallery page on our website). This went down extremely well with the family and I will definitely be repeating the idea again when the opportunity arises.
I wondered if anyone else out there has tried this and, if so, what the reaction was from the partygoers. It was a great outcome on this occasion but I will obviously not be continuing with this if anyone can tell me that a customer has found it to be offensive in any way.
