Thinking about getting a pair of CDJ's at the end of the month.

Was just wondering what their capabilities are with regards to effects.

As my current decks (N'mark Axis 9's) have a fair few effects (Phazer, Sonar etc as well as the usual sratch effects).

How do people find them, worh the $?

I don't think they have effects on them. The CDJ200s do though, and are a hell of a lot cheaper!

Forget effects, they are rock solid players and great if you're into club mixing, as they are very precise with pitch control.

If you want more effects without sacrificing your budget or build quality - look at the Denon DN-S3500 or (now deleted I think) DN-S5000. Unbeatable.

I just got 2 denon 3500 cd players after much debate over the CDJ 1000s, must say I love them and am so pleased I didnt go for the CDJs.

The spinning platter rocks, and having coming from a vinyl background is a real treat.

The tricks you can do on them and the effects are awesome.

Try a youtube search on them and see for yourself what you can do
