Hello...

Considering a new speaker setup for sometime soon.

Was thinking 2 JBL tops and subs, with some JBL control ones for the "booth".

2x JBL Control Ones (DJ Monitors) (£58) - http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/Audio,+Video+&+TV/Loudspeakers+-+Finished/Mounted/JBL/CONTROL1XTREME/displayProduct.jsp?sku=LS00997&_requestid=598619
2x JBL Dual Tops (£287 x2) - http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/Audio,+Video+&+TV/Disco+&+Live+Music/JBL/JRX125/displayProduct.jsp?sku=LS02718&_requestid=598559
2x JBL Subs (£287 x2) - http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/Audio,+Video+&+TV/Disco+&+Live+Music/JBL/JRX118S/displayProduct.jsp?sku=LS02719&_requestid=598545

What are peoples views on (mainly) the tops. They seem to have the lower woofer set as a sub as well. Although they are only rated @ 500w @ 4 Ohms, have I got enough power in this system. Subs are rated 350w? @ 4 Ohms (i think).

Any advice/comments appreicated.

Be aware that these cabinets only play up to 12khz. You really need something that will play up to at least 16khz or you won't have that 'sparkle' in the top end.
