EDIT: Looks good though, marked improvement on the old one!
The links within the flash (front page) are dodgy, tell them they need to make a hit area around them as right now it's just the text, and hard to hit!

No I know its not a unique site but Im there first disco to use them Im testing them visa versa @ £99 + vat plus monthly fee. I think its worthwhile an investment as all updates can be made immediately via phone or the internet next day My site is costing a tad more but the basic cost is still the same

You need alternate noflash content, users without flash see the attached.

I know I keep banging on about this, but a lot of people browse from work, and a lot of workplaces don't allow flash for security reasons (or just to stop people playing flash games!).

Is there? Agencies might be interested to see what you've got, as a way of rating your roadshow against others on their books, but does Joe Public really know what a datamoon / mushroom / gobo is? Yes, people know what a strobe and a smoke machine looks like. I know that almost everyone on here would have a Martin over a Soundlab piece of equipment, but how many clients either know, or care, what equipment we use? When you take your car for a service at the local garage, do you care whether the mechanic uses Snap-On tools or Kamasa? Probably not. Just as long as he does a good job.

Sorry for not making myself clear. It was meant as a question.
Is it worth having an equipment page? I think not, but if others who have been in business a lot longer than me, think that it is (otherwise why have such a page on their website) then maybe they have a reason.

Ah, right - twas a bit confusing.

No, I don't think it's worth having an equipment page unless you are hiring equipment out on it's own. A few shots of gear in action perhaps, so that the people that are interested can see the way it looks, but having a dedicated page with lists of gear is a waste of time IMO.

Great for other DJs to look at though. :cool:

Ok guys I choose an equipment page to show quality , reliable equipment

Behringer speakers are just that reliable I have never expirienced any problems (please remember this company also manufacturre Wharfdale just to name one company but to name a few they also provide pioneer and Sony as well as the likes or Creative Audigy sound systems for computers???? all which are **** reliable???

PSL Gobo stars are ultra reliable
Chauvet Pizzazz's are also to
Denon 4000 are as well
And the more modern Zoom LED mood bars have proven there time without flaw
All the lighting and retro equipment I use is 99% reliable and easy to repair

Most people in the know would know this, but general public are not as thick as you may think they check up on these things

the question i would ask is ....... how many of your clients know quality gear??? not many i would guess, its more important that it looks tidy and does what you say it does when you get there and you entertain the masses which im sure you do , next time you speak to a client as a bit of research ask them who they would say makes good reliable disco gear in their opinion.

not many of mine could tell you ... or i think would really care as long as i can reassure them.

The general public don't know about the industry and don't want to. They are not "getting wise" at all. It is in your own mind. They don't "live it" and certainly don't know what DMX is.

I have done more work than just Haverhill dear Solitaire and a few years ago it was trendy to wear jackets with disco equipment Logo's on ie Denon, Pioneer. Even music record Logo's were about??? DJ's in Haverhill Hang on I'll just work it out via the amount of disco's and residencies I think about 30+ DJ's not included those semi retired or retired now

+ 2 other small disco's im not even sure of the name of

Ahhh right? Some photo's are due to be replaced as time goes on so yes I dont have that piece of equipment the designers have provided a few photo's for the site but most are actually mine about 85% if not more
