a lot bigger yes but what about all the other threads that people have written and asked about. instead if writing a new thread you can read old ones and then there would be no posts???.

I know those comments were light hearted, but I would like to see more musical related posts? As these are mobile disco forums, I would have thought there would have been a lot more music discussion, as I'm sure we all have a passion for music? An example - the threads Steve made, like the top 10 genre threads and the 'Best... Album Ever' thread. Compared to the amount of DJs on here, even just the regular posters, there are relatively few contributions in my opinion.

Just an observation (and suggestion for everyone to get involved ;))

I've already posted in most of them, although I might have a look over them again tomorrow, or when I have time. The thing is, I (or anyone else) shouldn't have to encourage everyone else here to make their opinions and contributions, as we are (nearly) all DJs and must have a passion for music??

It always seems that like for like a techie thread will run for longer than a musical one.

Maybe we know enough about music, but don't know as much about equipment?

we have equipment :confused: :confused: :confused: :D

think the musical ones do crop up when someone gets a genre they are not sure of ... maybe we should have some that deal with the technical differences between certain types of music or like the top ten threads we could have trouble shooter threads for the major pieces of dj software? always think its best to talk to someone actually using it rather than someone who works for the company that made it etc.
