Thats all very well mate, but you have clearly lowered yourself to his level. There's a couple of videos I've found of his, and you're just swearing at him, his equipment and generally making an ass of yourself.

If you put promotional videos of your disco on youtube, you're best to disable any comments, or delete any negative comments which are left.

What else is there to say? No wonder the industry has such a bad image, when it's so easy for guys like this to get in.

my first thought was - i wouldn't take any of them - why?

well the "promo" had guess spelt as gess, and the writing was a mixture of upper and lowercase.

Pretty sure showing the picturers of the guys rig would be copyright infringment if no permission was given. And isnt there a law about competeters advertising standards. That is why tescos's and other supermarkets put ' just as good as the leading brand' on packets. Because they are not allowed to name.

I mean lets face it someone like Jamie on the forums if he did it would make our rigs look like tonker toys lol.

Best thing would be to contact youtube and have it removed as confrontational.

You should see whats on his site more links to youtube when him and his mate walk about handing out posters which have been printed and made by him.

They may not have a clue what they are doing but they still seem to get bookings im starting to think people dont care what there events are like.

Yeah i'm sure it was like that too, although it seems to have changed now as i've been in sainsburys and seen "cheaper than tesco" in a few places, and vice versa. It's definately not the case in yankeeland, they really lay into each other! :D

I was really pleased to see those videos. It makes me realise that I'm a lot better than I thought I was! Little boys, unable to spell. They make a very amateur video and aren't even sure what equipment they are using. I'd be more than happy to show those videos to any potential client of mine, then blow them away with a professional roadshow. No doubt they think that they are just great.:rolleyes:

It's stuff like this that gives the whole thing a bad name sometimes. I totally agree that it's kiddy stuff. I would say that the general browser would automatically think the same as the rest of the stuff that has been said and they would see that this is a petty argument between 2 'wannabe's'.

But this one is particularly pointless, especially as one of the people concerned is a forum member, who has managed to rise above it & not comment.

Who cares what others do. It doesn't affect your business & to run somebody else down like that is out of order.

If somebody has rubbish kit they should be encouraged to get some better quality equipment & not be subjected to what ammounts to having the :Censored: taken out of them.
