Morning Dave.....still couldn't do anything with that disc....... :D

Mine -
Elvis - Sweet - when younger.
Tubeway Army - Visage - when slightly older.
And now....anything apart from Crazy Frog......:bang:

Shamed to say i used to like Gary Glitter when younger.... (used to listen to all his tracks - but don't anymore)

For me, it was The Wombles, The St Winifred's School Choir, Joe Dolce, The Toy Dolls, The Brighouse & Rastrick Brass Band & The Wurzels.....

.....which probably explains a lot!

For me, and just about every other lad my age, it was all about Michael Jackson. I worshipped the guy, he could do no wrong. We would all be trying (and failing) to do his dance moves, and my very first Walkman only ever had his tapes in it!

Later on, there was the whole 2 Unlimited/Cappella thing which everyone my age was into, I sort of went along with that but wasn't musically 'inspired'. Then there was The Prodigy - they were something else! 'Out Of Space' was truly special, there was something magical about that track (still is!).

Nothing much happened in 1993 in my opinion, but then a year later along came a little known band called Oasis - the rest is history... :)

There's no shame in that at all, he was a great entertainer with some great tunes. Also, I'd say a good tune stays a good tune regardless of what happens to the original performer.

Dire Straits & Mark Knopfler - always have and still do like them. Other than them, ELO, Roxy Music and Meatloaf. Will admit also to being an Abba fan was I was younger.

[KrazyKaz]

Bon Jovi and Meatloaf when I got older.

When I was in my teens Shakin' Stevens was my hero!!!

[TonyB]

Forgot, Queen as well. One of my biggest regrets is not seeing them at a live concert.
