Hi everyone,

I have found a dual cd player as mine is very close to going to the cd player in the sky, Is this a good deal??

My Numark has been serving me for 7 years and I have no complaints.

I wouldn't recommend that player, as it doesn't appear to have anti-shock.

Wait until you get a bouncy floor!

For me personally, antishock is the one ESSENTIAL feature on a CD player.

Having said that, there is nothing wrong with Numark players, and I've used them for a while now.

Funny, because the first twin CD player I ever used was a Kam KCD850 (cost me £500 at the time) and that didn't have anti-shock and it never skipped. (Not that I can remember anyway)

I will probably be corrected but i thought that CD players that output karaoke like those numarks couldnt have anti shock?

Interesting.

From memory, I think MY first dual CD player was a KAM KCD860.

Although it was pretty good, there were some occasions where it skipped.

Ever since then, I've always used players with anti-shock.
