No & NO!

They weren't bad. They did a show of 2 halves, the first half they did the Blues Brothers stuff. Then in the second half, they did stuff of a similar ilk some ska & some irish stuff.

Must admit they were better in the second half.

Is that because the drink was flowing better......

No they just didn't cut the mustard as the Blues Brothers. It was just 2 blokes doing songs from the BB movies & albums. No real attempt was made to sound like Elwood or Jake. When they started doing other stuff it was easier to accept.

It's huge! The band played in the bay window that backs onto the garden (which is where we went when we decided that the BB stuff wasn't up to much, but could still hear it as the windows were open)

Probably about 100 or so there (a lot more than a regular Thursday by all accounts)

We had a bit of a side show in the garden some chap turned up & started fire juggling & this sort of thing http://www.rue-morgue.com/pics/fearfest2006/fearfest7.jpg
Bloody good he was too.

Agreed - and we could hear them better from the beer (smoke :D ) garden.

It was a good night out - shame I had to get up so early this morning.
