Why don't all lighting companies make cases for their lights?
Why is it everytime I buy anything, I have to spend days measuring new effects and cruising the net looking for suitable cases.
And then, after days of doing that phoning Adda to have some specially made and costing me even more money than I'd budgeted for?

I had problems getting a case for my abstract moonrays but had a chat with my local music shop he rang a few suppliers with the dimensions and got me a case made for other lights that fitted them perfectly.
What lights are you looking for cass for by they way?

know how you feel Daz when i got my ishows it seemed an age before someone bought out flightcases for them .... you would have thought it would be a consideration for companies, when you are spending hundreds or even thousands on a product you may want to keep it in good condition???

Martin SCX500s.
I had a couple of Moonscans and had a case for them, but for the life of me I can't think what the case was supposed to be for?

OK, the obvious thing to do is whenever you go to a mobile dj show collar the rep for each make of lights and put the point to them.
If we ALL moan enough and mention "Well, Prolight manage it" maybe they will think about at least recommending a flightcase for their equipment.
Complaining to each other won't really help, will it? :bang:

I didn't say it would help, but this is a forum to discuss things Rob.
I have already spoken to Martin because there wasn't a case for my EFX500 either, so they obviously took it on board didn't they?
All they could suggest was to go to this company and that company and I found that no-one had the specs or made cases. In the end I had to measure my effects and go to Adda with them to have a bespoke case made. Adda have kept the measurements, so if you need a case for an EFX500, they can make you one.

Thanks, but I'd already found that one. I was looking for the trifibre type cases as full flight are going to be way too heavy.

Swanflight make the best cases that i have ever used, they are great, send them the light unit or the dimensions and they build it. If your not happy then they will rebuild the case unti it is right.....
I used to use Kamkase, Yes they are pretty good but i dont fancy putting the weight in them like i do with the swanflight ones.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a great experience with them before. I found they didn't bother answering emails or phone calls on a regular basis.

Swanflight do make great cases, i have never had a problem contacting them yet, touch wood,
but yet again the are the strongest cases i have seen.
