If anyone has one or more of these could you give me a brief review on what you think of them. For example:
1. light output
2. ease to setup
3. problems (if any)
4. What it can do

This would be great if anyone can help.

are they the ones that rice recently bought???? maybe worth a pm or maybe dj-aym think he recently bought some also not sure if they are the exact ones though.

Yeah I think they may be. Just trying to make sure they will do what I want. I can buy 4 of the stairville ones for the same money. But pretty sure the eurolight ones are better just need confirmation really. Have to decide tonight as I need to complete order before midnight.

Same as any par really, may be providing lighting for bands and also using for dancfloor colour changing. Maybe backlighting maybe just as a less intense lighting effect.

There a par 64 body, they were never going to win any beauty prizes.

I like 64s....I dislike the Eurolite's....I think it's because they have no gel frame...and thus no gel frame holder....

But as they are RGB colour anyway why would they need a gel holder.

I suppose the pars with holder gates have been around so long we just accept thats how they are supposed to look. Mind you some of the led pars out there are butt ugly.

I have the LEDJ 64 version, and believe it's identical to the Thomann version apart from having a wider beam angle.

1. Very bright for its power consumption. Will easily throw to the back of a venue in low light.

2. As easy as any other DMX lighting effect.

3. The Chineese are very poor at soldering :(. Occasionally a few LED's will stop working, so it's a case of open the unit up (easy to do) and just go over the solder joints.

4. Apart from pretty much any colour you want, the more units you have, the more possibilities. With a decent DMX controller, you can create chases / fades in any colour combination.

Hope this gives you some idea.

Correct, I now have four of these. Certainly not at all ugly, especially when you have the Silver versions!

Very bright - used as wash lighting for Saturday's wedding - video to come soon. Master slave VERY easy. No worries so far with LED's not working (been about a month of use with them). As for what they can do - well, you can create any colour you want. Stand alone, the do colour fade (good for first dances), sound to light and you can select and combination of red , green and blue manually. All of these also work on master slave!

Great bit of kit!

Well thanks for the info guys, decided to go for the 4 par 56's As I could get 4 for the same price of 2 of the par 64's. And as I am planning to dmx them and create chases etc I thought jamies suggestion of several had merit.
THere seemed little difference between them other than a couple of led's so thought might as well go for the 4.
