first time i have seen them and i would only go for the gem. not much of colour or gobo changing as its just the led's turning on and off if im right. but they look "ok"

It does say that it is comparable to a twin 250 watt halaogen, but then I have known some very dim halogen effects so that doesnt mean much. I have 2 led fixturers (not including pars) and they are bright enough for close projection only. Light coloured wall or ceiling for example. In a dark room they project better but its very rare we can get a room that dark.

Out of the two I prefer the Dual Gem LED

they look pretty cool but i expect there are cheaper alternatives.. which have the same effect.

saw some led effects at dj show north recently and to be honest was only semi impressed although the beams created were nice and sharp the throw on these i thought were very limited indeed and nowhere near the effect you get on a dancefloor from a 250w lamp or above.

stuff like that you would have to see in action as LED products are still quite new to the Dj market, like with any lighting i like to see it in action before i buy it

I must admit that I saw quite a few of the cheap led products at DJ SHow North on the Prolight stand and thought they were rubbish, but having seen them again in a shop, I have to say that for the price, they are very good.
