Scam Time Again

Morning Folks,

I have been racking my brains on how to finance a new Mackie Active System and the problem has been sorted!!!!

Recieved this mail a few moments ago -

I am Lady Martha Stirling, Laird of Keir ,Recently my Doctor told me
that I have limited days to live due to the cancerous problems I am
suffering from,why my Husband is late Sir D. S,Chairman of Stirling
& Wright General Partners, I will also issue a Letter of Authority
that will empower you as an original beneficiary of this fund through
my Lawyer.

On a serious note, do these twonks really think that people fall for these scams!!!

Hiya Mr Mayhem,

I think the answer to your question is YES.

If people didn't fall for those scams, presumably the scammers would stop sending out the emails.

It's the same with those emails from banks, with links to fake sites where they tell you to log on to confirm your details. I get loads of those, but there must be people falling for it, or the emails wouldn't keep coming!

They aren't twonks, they take advantage of twonks. People get scammed this way which is why they continue to do it. Scary really.

Actually im a Laird of Keir as well. Reason being it was bought for me as a present by my wife a couple of years ago. It is one of these pay £150 get a couple of meters of land in scotland + hunting rights and you can call yourself a lord.

I normally send back something in big red letters telling them what they can do with their email. Never seem to hear anything back though :)

Just found out today that a guy that tried to do my on ebay has had his account taken away so reporting does some good by the looks of it. And i also took Paypals Phishing challenge and scored 5 out of 5...woo hoo :-)
