Hi, I've just registered with uk-disco.co.uk

Just wondering if any of you use this and if so does it generate much interest / work.

I can't afford the Gold membership but considering the Silver if it actually pulls in the gigs.

Gold brings me plenty of enquiries. Hardly had anything when I was silver though, as I'd only come up top when people were looking at "Worcester" or "Worcestershire" which is a tiny fraction of the area I cover. I guess it would be ok if you live in a big city though.

id agree with dannos post totally im just waiting to regain my gold status ... hopefully , that brought me in lots of bookings , silver has been limited so far lost my gold due to a late payment but keep my eyes on the site.

uk disco works fine for me i would say yes go ahead ,ive got the silver membership and im happy with that.

I have no problems with uk-disco, had about 10 enquires in the last 5 days. Only on silver membership.

I've got the Gold membership and I do receive a number of enquiries from them.

Can someone confirm that on their Silver membership, the enquiries you receive don't also go to other advertisers?

Yes i can rob. The only time they go to other advertisers is if you have a free listing. From silver right through to platimum the only person to get the enquiries sent to you through UK-Disco is you.

I feel that the free listing can work as well as the platinium I was an original member and as Im the only disco listed in haverhill it certainly helps on that count??? I may condider upgrading to silver but am sick of having to pay for all the sites to just get you noticed. what with all the wedding sites as well it gets a bit much

I'm been on uk disco for a while now, one thing that does annoy me is the fact they don't make the telephone number for the client a required field

As I know alot of people said they like to call the potential client, but this is a problem as the only way of getting hold of someone is by email, hoping that the email you've just sent hasn't gone into their junk mail and has been missed.

Are there any other websites that have don't have the problem of letting people not put their phone number in when asking for quotes?

Why not sent the email with a read receipt so when the client opens it - you get a message back saying it's been delivered? That would solve the issue of not knowing.

They have to make their money somehow.. just the nature of advertising...:)

I am currently on silver and get an OK amount of traffic through.. although I will be upgrading to Gold as soon as I can.... I think it depends on which area your in and how much competition there is.
