Hi All,
I am looking for a couple of disco lights that cover a wide area of space as during the next couple of weeks I am working in large halls. Dont want to spend a fortune but something that looks impressive, any ideas

Acme Dynarolls.
Absolutely wonderful. Get a pair if you have the funds and link them with a DMX cable; run them off a CA8 sound to light.
To anyone thinking of splashing on a carry case... those "extra large" folding crates from B+Q (about £6) holds one perfectly face down with its plasticstyrene pieces on it.
If you really are on a budget, Stairville Tomahawks from Thomann around £60 each. A bit on the manic side program-wise but they fill a large space.

Wildtech Fascination is around £89.00 and covers a lot of space, very bright with some great patterns and colours.

Dynarolls are about 5 times brighter and the programming is superior.
They're also smaller and lighter and link up nicely with the Dynamos for an integrated show even without full DMX.
I swapped SM3s for the Acmes.

I like the Twsiter 4 HPs myself. Don't own a pair, been contemplating it though.
