Hello Folks,
I received two new purchases today.. two dmx scanners.
Me being the cheap skate i am.. (or that i just want to buy another 600 quids worth of stuff in the next few days) I took the risk of buying them on Ebay.. and it paid off.

I'm not going to say they are the best in the world lol.. but they are 4 channel Soundlab Hi-Scan 2 DMX Scanners (G017RF) and I think they look wicked.. and should go nicely with the moving heads.

Manufactures can buy units already made, and not "branded" They then turn them into their own products by giving them a name (model name), and printing their name on them (brand).

Thats why Stairville and Acme make identical moving lights :P

Oh and.. i've just moved over to using G-Clamps now.... *sheepish grin*... they make everything so much easier.

Yep there geni. They also make the spyro badged as soundlab.

I don't think they are any make at all.

They just seem to manufacture them and then add the badge to whoever wants to sell them.
