Do the longer life ones really last longer? What is the difference in the lamp?
hmm.. one does wonder.. i think it is worth getting the ordinary ones in which will last you around 50 hours.. and just buy a pack.. as they are not every much per lamp!

OK I know im probably being idiotic here. I buy cheap lamps noramlly i.e the 50 hour ones. These normally do what they say on the box around 10 gigs 5 hours each about 50 hours in fact.
These long life bulbs claim 500 hours + would you say you get this or is it not realistic of them. Its just i can but 4 cheap ones for the price of an expensive long life. But if a long life really does last 500 hours it will save money in the long run.

The long life lamps in my moving heads lasted a year, so yes, they do last longer. I use GE I think.
