Sorry to hear of your gig Mike, I guess there's no way round that one.
I however have just had a stormer! 50th Birthday for a lady I have known for many years. Before starting we played Led Zep and AC/DC for the staff, all lights green, and full up what a lovely sound! During the evening there was champagne, a top quality buffet, and I played everything from Bay City Rollers to Bad Company, Led Zep to Los Del Rio, Meatloaf to Mistura, Van Morrison to Velvelettes. Just like we were both 18 again!( Except in my case, it's harder to believe I ever was 18!) Lots of cuddles from a very happy Birthday Girl, and a ten pound bonus! Don't you wish every gig was this good?:D :D :D
And the best bit? When I finished, I switched off, walked out and just left it! Yes, I'm in the same place tonight!!!!!!:D :D
