We we're going to do a crew panto at panto this year....I've just found something better to do instead :P

don't think the pantomime company would be happy with us doing that in our panto ;)
They are a bit too pro.. run shows at various places over the county...
... although it would be a lot of fun to do!

that was really good. would be cool if somthing was done over here. maby you two could get to get together and think of somthing. dont forget if you need a sound tech then just give us a shout. :P ;)

just casual general technicians for panto.. (so in pretty much every day).
You would either be backstage, in the flys or maybe followspotting... depending on how good you are and what your suitable for.:)

well i prefer to be with sound as that what im good at (not being up myself) but im a very quick learn (visual, no manuals sa im dyslexic) so i would give anything a go. if it was on the weekend then maby i could help. i dont know yet.

it's a 3 week running production.. with shows in the afternoon and evenings for pretty much everyday.
To be quite honest I don't think you can expect to turn up to a regional theatre like this and bag yourself a soundman job straight away.... i say this because they already have soundies that they know very well.. and they will not have seen how you work etc.

:-) If you did want to get into sound etc.. try local amateur groups and see if they need help.. or go along as a helper / observer with a sound man to some shows. :)
