Just had phone call off these guys asking if I want to join for £30 a month.... Would you pay such a high fee just for a free listing of your business plus a weekly email of potential customers in your area whom may wish to book you for a wedding disco????

We have had several Wedding Clients request information for your
services in your trading area this week.

Please reply to this email or call my direct line below. We will then
list your business free of charge on our online supplier directory for
three months and you may also enquire how you can receive the
name, address, telephone, email, and date of wedding of
clients on a weekly basis.

Kind Regards,

Andrew

Note: If you would like to visit the website, please enter TEST in the
« Firstname » field when you register so that your details are not sent
out to suppliers.

Had yet another phone call after sending the guy andrew an email as below

"Would like to thank you for your agents call regarding joining up at £30 a month but feel this a very expensive way of getting bookings

Had you of suggested 3 months free trial with the weekly email of potential clients in my area I may have considered joining but at £30 cost per month is currently out of my budget

I do thank you for my free entry to your directory for the 3 months but feel like many other sites this should be a permanent listing as you are so keen to get disco's within my area and I am a senior member of the Mobilediscodirectory.co.uk and this is also a free directory. The decision is yours in the end and you are trying to make money the mobile disco directory is not. we are trying to provide people with responsible choice for any function wether it be a wedding birthday or engagement etc etc"

He was a little suprised that £30 was a little expensive til I reminded him of a list of directories out the that are free and get us as much work as he could provide us with. And this is before another list of directories that could work out cheaper to pay for than his one site altogether. He's going back to the head office to discuss getting us guys a better rate for disco's in general I may have won a small battle for our benefit as us poorly paid disco's LOL cant afford such extortionate rates, I did suggest he had various rates for different businesses and that had it been more like £10 per month or slightly less it may be more appealing to use. For 8 - 10 potential customers a week in an email that have chosen interested in booking my disco sounds too good to be true.

He has gone back to his drawing board as to speak I will let all know what happens as I get too hear in due course
