Just about eveyone who uses music uses copyrighted music - there is a bit in the rules or T&Cs that mentions you aren't allowed to use copyrighted music, but everyone seems to ignore that fact.

Well, I prefer Lily to Kate Nash.

I guess he did it when 'Smile' had just come out so it was the in thing (the humour in the song/video is his kind of humour - he can be a vicious queer when the mood suits), and he's an extremely big Kylie fan.
