I've tried many over the years but the only ones I've kept and regularly use are the Stormbirds, Dynamos and Dynarolls.

No helpful thoughts, only the question are the 250w Dynamo, and Dynarock good machines? I have seen confusing things about separate colour and gobo wheels, and for a bear of very little brain it's all too much! On the same lines, would anyone go for the Dynatwin, and Dynaroll, on grounds of less cables and boxes, or two each of the others?

I got 4 dynamos and 2 dynarolls. Taking 2 bottles into the shower instead of 4 is so much easier. Wish I'd bought dynatwins. Ho hum.

This video (http://www.vectisvibe.com/video/ClubVibe%20Aug07.wmv) has one Dynaroll in it, top left inbetween the laser and the sign. Beneath are a pair of datamoons, red double laser, loopytubes and starcloth. Top right is a stormbird but it's not turned on. All just running StL. I've since bought another Dynaroll to go where the stormbird sits. At larger venues (this one isn't) the pair of stormbirds will sit under the green lasers, when the TFT screens aren't being used.

i love the irocks 5s and 5b hid effects although the 250w discharge moving heads look nice along with the new led stuff

Agree with that the 5b is very bright and nice colours and gobos the jury is still out on hid bulb very pricey im waiting to see how long they last.

ive had a hid kalaido for over a year running twice a week and still on the original bulb ! i love the irock stuff but will be (trying) to sell mine again on djbids at the end of the month as im scaling my show right back.
