View Full Version : Best week of my life - now I can retire!

Yesterday I received a letter from Spain telling me I've won €600,000.

Today I've received ANOTHER one, and this time I've won €635,000.

I can't believe my luck...especially as both prizes are from lotteries I didn't even enter!

All I have to do is fill in the claim forms and complete my bank account details - or let them know if I'd rather receive my winnings by cheque...and then fax the forms back to them.

I wonder why they just didn't send me cheques in the first place?

If I was a cynic, I might think that after returning the claim forms I'd be asked to pay an "admin fee" to cover their expenses, after which I'd never hear from them again.

I suspect that both letters might be from the guy below or one of his colleagues, so maybe I won't be able to retire early after all. :(

I understand they buy lists of names & addresses from various companies.

The thing is, I'm registered with the mail preference service, which is meant to stop all unsolicited mail.

I guess it doesn't apply to stuff sent from abroad.
