Don't you ever marvel at the variation you get between shows.
In the last few weeks I have had weddings that were full of Killers, Razorlight, Clash, Madness, Greenday, even Oasis and Pulp with people packing the floor all evening.
So, what do I have tonight?
Without a doubt, it's a CHEESEFEST.
Playlist of "Must Play"?
"love shack
sugar pie honey bun(or it might be) I can't help myself
aint too proud to beg
love machine
rock dj
any Girls Aloud
year 3000
summer of 69
I'm forever blowing bubbles
dancing queen
I get around
and everythng else that makes people dance please
NB no slow tunes.unless requested on night of course."
Checked the Love Machine request .................. yes, it's Girls Aloud.
Pass the pickled onions, please.

But how about this for coincidence...
We've got 2 weddings today; both brides are Egyptian; both groom's are English; both are having Belly Dancers as part of the evening's entertainment!

Yes, you do get odd times like that.
Also you suddenly get a track being requested again and again on your "must play" list.
Dance With My Father has been requested several times and not just for weddings.
Now they all keep putting Love Shack on the lists.
As neither are being used on ads or being re-released, what causes the collective brain to follow a trend like that?
The answer is out there.

Played 7 tracks at mine & Lol played 70% Egyptian / Arabic as it was the only stuff they'd dance to & the English guests didn't dance!
