Arrive at 6 to set up for 7.
Client turns up at 7.15 with guests shortly after. And guess what, they are south African!
I'm invited for a drink and then into the Bar to watch the Rugby.
When the Rugby finished out came some food and again invited to help myself.
Eventually at 9.45 i start to play some music, full floor all night finishing off with Hot Chocolate "you sexy thing", and yes about 10 guys doing the full monty routine.
Fantastic night, and a great client.
:D

Had the rugby:whistle: on my teeny weeny portable while the band were on in the next room (probably as many people gathered around my 5" TV as were watching the band). Started the disco at 9:30 but was asked to keep the TV on (no volume) for those who wanted to see the end / final score. 2 1/2 hours of full on partying (surprising when you consider who won, the mood was not good) & some very happy South Africans.

Have a disco

So why was it the most boring match of the whole tournament?

BTW there was no way that try was in touch. If it had been given, I'm convinced England would have won the match (all they needed was a confidence boost)

I had a wedding and the Hotel put a plasma in the function room. I put background music on, only for someone to say "Do we have to have music on"? Er...yes, it's a wedding reception.

...and not everyone is watching the rugby.
