Just bought a dmix300 and I primarily use a mac but the Cortex forum seems surprisingly low on mac users - as in none.
I just wanted to compare notes - I've started to use 'Max' to rip my CDS and wondered if anyone else used another more suitable mac program - or if they had used a PC because there was more scope?

The best program for ripping cds on the mac is iTunes.

On the basis its very stable, it adds the ID3 tags correctly, its built for the job and does it extremely fast and well.

Shame the genres don't always match the music though :sj:

Alas I like iTunes but it failed to rip a CD properly on one occasion and i lost confidence with it - Currently thinking of using dbpoweramp on a PC - seems to get good write ups.
