Visio Colour Mood Remote Commander

I had a demo at Clive's shop a few weeks ago and thought it was good, so bought one last week.

It's a small controller to go with the Visio led pars and if you don't understand, want to understand DMX and want an instant solution, then this is for you.

Within 10 minutes of taking it out of the box, I was changing colours, strobing, colour mixing and it was very very easy. Within 20 minutes I was teaching my 7 and 9 year olds how to use it.

They retail at around £90 and for room/wall uplighting, they are superb.

Make sure you get the slightly more expensive Visio pars if you are going to get one.

Just had a looky and it is the same as the Colormix CA32. Still a great little bit of kit.

Yeah a good sized desk. Dont really need anything bigger for a desk like that.

Does exactly what it says on the tin, nice and easy to use too, you don't have time on gigs to start messing programming DMX controllers up, This is quick and easy and anybody can use it, I use the same with my icolour 4 and it has got to be one of the best dmx controllers i own

I assumed that only the same make pars would work with the controller, though thinking about it, it couls possibly be a sales ploy...:rolleyes:

The pars also have an input to use a CA-8 with them and don't have a speed/sound sensitivity control on either. They do have automatic DMX addressing too by the press of one button.

Im wondering as the Zoom mood bars are DMX controllable wether this item would also help run these lighting effects of mine to a better potential rather than keep changing my programme numbers on the back insesantly or just leave it on the auto programme they have. No point in me buying a dmx light controller if it hasn't been used on a Zoom mood bar effect as this one is small it may just do the job I need?????

I suppose it would depend how many DMX channels are involved to be honest.

Do you mean you alter the dmx dipswitches on the back ? Not really advisable as the little switches can break easily and they are not intended to be changed often. A dmx would be the better option i imagine.

they have dmx link input and outputs thats what I was on about not the assignable buttons
