maybe of thinking of getting a centre piece to go with my 4 dynamos....
was thinking either get rid of the dynamos and go for the 250s or just buy a centre piece. was thinking of maybe putting the 250 dynorock in centre as budjet bit tight.

Rememeber the dynamos are pretty bright if you change to 250's they will be brighter especially in peoples eyes. I used to use a couple of really bright scanners and ended up getting rid of them due to dazzling people to much. As for a centerpiece you could always get a dynarock or the duel version for not much more. Should look good and the cases will match your current lights so will match nicely.

On my medium rig i use 2 chauvet abyss in the middle of the abstract lighting pointing up at the celing, these give off a nice water wave effect across the top of the ceiling.
One would be ample to sit between your scanners tho
Or maybe a par can Led or standard pointing at the ceiling creating a warm atmosphere around the venue

Led pars sound a good idea, although one would look a bit odd by itself. Perhaps two, so your rig could go dynamo - par - dynamo - dynamo - par - dynamo. Then you could always add a dynaroll as a centerpeice as well, if you wanted.

Yeah well what i was thinking is the dynamos are conentrating on the danefloor and surrounding areas so why not light somewhere esle up and leave the dynamos to the dancefloor, There is enough happening on the dancefloor so no real need for another effect whizzing around in my opinion.

Not sure about that, I tried a gig the other month using just scanners (and these were 150w discharge) and 2 LED pars on the dancefloor, and it didn't seem bright enough to me (I usually use 2 EVL spins as well). Although It would have been better with better programming of the scans, so that they stayed on the floor more.

3rd that.
If cash is REALLY tight get one, then a second in due course. But if you can stretch to it there's a few vendors still doing the '2 datamoons, case and controller' for £249 and that is an absolute bargain. The controller is awesome and the case is really sturdy wooden variety.
