hiya all, ive been doing a local pub gig but its closed down and now i either have to sell my equipement:( or find some more places but they have already got dicos sorted what would be a new way forwards, i was looking at PLI would that help me get work in? i am willing to travel.

Hi, welcome to the forum.

You should have PLI anyway, if only for your own protection from people sueing you, should they have an accident.

I'm sure you'll find plenty of information on this site to help you improve your chances of getting all the work out there, but with regard to PLI - Danno's right - you should get it first and foremost for your own protection, although you will find that quite a few venues won't let you in the door unless you have it.

thanks all my local pub wasnt fussed and as i was just starting up i let it ride and was lucky i guess i dont want to take anuy chances anymore and have got instant cover with djguard

thanks forgie ill go and have a look im off to get my equipment checked over, pat for a fiver an item, if its cheaper do they do a quicker look? whats involved in a pat? turn it on and check for any shock?
