Vista sound card issues

I'm getting my new laptop tomorrow and it comes pre-installed with Vista Home Premium.

My question is (having never used Vista), is there any problems/issues with soundcards as there is an ebay page that states that this can be the case.

I will be using a Maya 44 USB sound card with this.

Does anyone use a similar set up?

no worries. :). from what i can see this should work including the asio

Windows vista doesn't allow directsound due to a programming error. Im not sure if your program uses this but if it does it may cause problems.
