Hi

Looking for a new amp. Been looking at Stageline STA-322. Has anyone got any experience, good or bad, of this particular make etc?

Cheers

IMHO it would not be a good choice for front line amp. Off the top of my head I would have sooner gone for Numark Dimension 3 or Peavey PV1500
( if you want the crosover feature ) . I have had no first hand experience of Stageline.

I've heard of them, but not used them before. Looking at the price, they are a fairly budget amp Kaz. I would have a looky round forums and see what else people are using and what is reliable.

I think the Behringer EP2500 or EP1500 both at around £200 would suit you and there are lots of people who use them and say they are good workhorses.

^^ I'll second that ^^

The Behringers are clear, loud and pretty indestructible. For under £200 the 1500 is a total bargain.

That's twice now! Where in heaven's name are you looking? I'm finding 1500 at £220 and 2500 at £250.

Here (http://www.djstore.co.uk/cgi-bin/item.pl?item=behep1500) for £190 and £230 respectively ;)

And with the best service you'll get online to boot.

Interested to hear more... I've used them maybe a dozen times and every time if they say its in stock it is, and it always arrives next day, unlike virtually every other etailer I've tried.

Not so much about getting it when they say, more getting defective goods back to them. Specifically who cops the expense (there is a thread on the subject)

Only had one issue with them so far, a lighting stand arrived in a trashed box and was scratched up. Called them, replacement arrived next day and original one was collected.

Ah well, something to watch out for I guess :o
