I have just had a request for proof of PLI and PAT which I CAN provide but the venue has also asked if I have any relevant Health & Safety certificate.

I hope someone out there can tell me whether a certificate is really necessary to have, and if so, how do I go about getting one?

Thanks.....Rob (Mister Musicman)

Health and safety is their problem as its their venue I would have thought. At least in the terms of a document. We all keep our stuff as safe as possable anyway and tie cables etc. I do have a clause about use of lasers smoke and bubbles in my contracts. And once the contract is signed they have agreed to the possible dangers of them. ( bubble slippage etc) but never been asked for a health and safety certifcate before.

Nearly had to produce one--(Jamie kindly forwarded a draft document) for a Line Dance but the venue agreed it was OTT and then only wanted PLI details.

A BIG THANK YOU TO Mr RUSTY. Yes, that's just what they wanted!
:approve:

I hope you don't mind me using this as a template, perhaps it should be available to all in the LEGAL section.

Thanks again Simon....I owe you a :beer1:
