Looking for a bit of help here. I run a mostly dmx'ed light show comprising 4 acme dynamos , 2 acme dynarocks , 4 led pars and occasioanlly 2 dmx gobo projectors. I run an acme dmx console but have found that the manual is not particulally helpful for what I want to do.
I will try my best to explain what im trying to do.
I would like to make the beams of my dynamo's move slowly around, this is to make best use when using smoke effects. The inbuilt programms can do this very smoothly but I am unable to replicate it on my dmx controller. I can program chases etc but they always seem to move to position to fast or via a route I do not want. Is there another setting I should be doing or have i missed something fundamental. Also Is there a way to set a different speed for transitions so number on may go on for say 4 beats and number 2 will pulse to the beat for example?
Any help or reference material people can source would be great.

oh by the way posted in this forum not technical as all lighting is in mobile use and that may play a part in the programing. (different lighting positions etc.

Can the control be set for just one transition though rather than the whole chase? Unfortunatly the manual offers no explinations of these controls.

The CA-8 can change the speed between GOBO's and the strobe speed.

Im not using a ca-8 and due to the types of lighting used I am unable to use one.
