Hi Dave,

In addition to discos, I also run pub quiz nights 5 evenings a week.

This avoids the need for a daytime job (especially as I haven't had a disco for 3 weeks!).

No, not for everyone. ;)

No, seriously, his time of year is generally quiet for most people. The lull before the storm if you like.

For me it's nice to have some Fridays & Saturdays off.....

.....partly because I'll be making up for it next month.....

.....and partly because I always work the other 5 nights of the week anyway!

Dave,

As Darren said, November is one of the quiet months...especially for those of us who do mostly weddings...most of which tend to be between April and October.

I agree.

I have taken the last 2 Saturdays off and spent them with my family which was really nice for a change.

I do it full time. 3 nights a week all the time with multiples at the weekend where I get someone else in too. It hasn't slowed down for me at all this year..I think there was a saturday in October sometime at the beginning that I didn't work. Apart from some christmas party cancellations from my hotel residency that I mentioned before, it's still full steam ahead.
