I now have much respect for people like Mr Mayhem that do children's parties for a living as i did one last night and realised that you do need a lot of patience and a certain type of personality. Kids can be very hard to please and if you make one mistake with the music they will tell you its crap no doubt about it :D
The children had a good night and i did games with them which they enjoyed but boy i certainly had to work hard for the money that night :D

I'd much rather do kids parties. Love them. Thankfully, they are the gigs I mostly do.

I will agree with rocketroadshow on that. they are very challenging but can also be very rewarding when done correctly.
You've got to give it to all the childrens entertainers.
(Mayhem i think i may have seen you at brean leisure park a while ago very good may i say, Well Done.:)

It was a few years ago and back then i did'nt know who you were. It wasnt till i joined this forum and seen your post on "top childrens games" and it rang bells in my head.:D
If i remeber correctly i was in the "Tavern" next door to the room you were working in and something happend (Can't remeber what) and you ended up doing your show in front of all the adults (where i was) in the "Tavern".
Can't remeber which one was you tho. i remeber there was one overly camp (don't mean to be rude) childrens entertainer and one crazy bloke. Which one of these (if any) was you. *Bad memory*
I do remeber it was a good night tho as both entertainers catered for both adults and children.
Just did a 9 year old party tonight. what madness. they would never shut up, they back chat you, never keep still when playing games.
Mr Mayhem, you must love working with children so much. i was only playing music and games for 2 hours and at the end i wanted to go home and leave all the gear there. i now have a splitting headache because of this. :(

is that a good idea?
not really but i had simply had enough of it. i owuld rather prefer do disco's for anyone older than me. more or a challenge instead of playing the now cd's for a few hours.
