Hello i am thinking of getting new scanners iv got dynamos at the moment 100w version i have seen on the internet the new ones from kam dj250 just wondered if anyone has seen them in action ? or any other compact scanners thanks.

dynamo now do a 250w scanner and barrel only slightly larger than the 100w versions.

ye they look i was after seperate gobo and colour wheels might just upgrade i have got 2 dynarocks already they are good for the money also anyone recomend a good bright laser i have a gx40 laser not really bright enough i dont think ?

its more of a downgrade to Kam rather than an upgrade... Prolight lighting do some good stuff... Have you not thought about either the 250w dynamo versions or even upgrading to some of the I-Solution scanners?

I do like the look of the isolution stuff the only thing that puts me off them is the size and weight of them they look massive might consider them though

Well the isoloution stuff doesn't weigh much to be honest with you.. They are a nice size and are nice and powerful too.
They are a nice upgrade from the dynamos... get the right controller for the isolution scanners and you will be able to have them moving nice and slowly or fast... We had some dynamos on a usb controller last night and they dont move slowly very well as they don't have any micro stepper motors. What i will do is lend some Isolution stuff for the weekend and make a video and show you and see what you think if you like,.

ok mate that would be much appreciated i am tempted to get some when programming the dynamos they just move too fast i want something more classy i was looking at the stairville ones on thomann are they exactly the same ? seem good value if they are.
