Hi guys,

I have now done 10 gigs in total, ok it might not sound alot but only been up and running for a few months and i have another 5 gigs coming up. so far i have really enjoyed it best thing i have ever done. I have had few problems with some people asking for a certain song and its not appropriate for the event or appropriate to play at the time they ask and they get grumpy or give you funny looks, but all i do is smile and either say not got it with me tonight or ill play it later for when it will be suitable to play but sometimes they just dont let go. Or you get group of people going they want for example RnB so you play it and they go and have a fag, so what i do is get there names an say to everyone that they ask for this request at least then it dont look bad on me. but overall really enjoying it. You get a buzz when everyone dancing and best thing of all is when people come up to you at end of nght and say thankyou what a great job you have done.:beer1:

and just like to say thanks to everyone who has answered my questions in last few months cheers.:beer1: :)

The same as in any new job. Finding your feet, finding a level of comfort that comes with any type of new challenge.

Well done mate - I've just added mine up and I've done 14 so far (just realised that number 13 was the 16th birthday party with a fight!!!)

I have 7 disco's lined up for December totalling £1,000. I'm working a 9-5 job but hopefully may be able to work part time next year if the work keeps coming in. Have 3 weddings 2 party's and my residency so far for next year.

Ah right.....i thought you might have meant setting up and reducing time as that seems to be a key factor. Evertime i go out i try different way's but i'm moving slightly off topic there.....
