I'm sure I read somewhere that they fit snugly in a 12" LP flightcase

I'm using the mirroball cases at the moment and they fit in, but only just and are a pain to get out again.

You need to twist the light slightly to get it in and out. (or you could take the bracket off and do it easily!)

M*plins 50LP flight case @ £22.99 (http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=28585&source=2001&doy=27m11): Dimensions: 340 x 325 x 230mm - from others on the 'Bay it would appear that's EXTERNAL dimensions.

Will have to go to M*plins tomorrow (oh the shame) with me tape measure and see if that's internal dimensions, and if it will go in with removal of a bit of the lining if so...

Well I think I'm OK, nobody I knew saw me going in or coming out...

And Yes that is external dimensions, so I guess the 75 record case would be the one to go for.

I am awaiting delivery of the light today, then can get with the tape measure - might find a secondhand one, as there are lots of hard-up bedroom DJ's this time of year who need the £££ to buy some Elizabeth Duke for their girlfriend's / daughter's / mother's Xmas present. :D

They are foam lined too and really inexpensive. They only charged me £5.50 to deliver both and they came next day too.

Do they fit in with the bracket and clamp attached?. I've bought a couple of padded gig bags as a temporary solution, but I really want want something more sturdy and durable.

Bracket, yes, clamp, I don't think so, but then not many cases do in my experience.
