Last week I put a small system that I had used to develop on of my systems with on ebay thinking that a Dj would get some benifit from a really cheap speaker system! (I started the bid at £100.00)
if it wasn't bad enough that the buyer messed me about & turned up at my house at 11:30pm I've just seen the system back on ebay starting at twice the price!
what this bloke does is uses a normal account to buy stuff then sells on a power seller account! nice eh?
I wouldn't mind! he's even used most of my posting!
may he be infested with the fleas of a thousand camels!!!! :bang:

That's not on......
But why did you not try dj bids and then place a plug on here??
Could have then gone to a or might have gone to a good home.....:)
Not trying to be rude BTW.

Already done reported him for using two accounts and copying text!!
as I had had my use of the system I really wanted this system to go to someone who could benifit from it, but not like this! and the horns were £60.00 each not £180 Muppet!!!

Ebays a great place. i have gotten a few things off of there and its been brilliant. I always look at the number of things that they have bought compared to there % of +ve feedback.

I must admit most of the stuff I've put on has had no problems and the most odd stuff sells for silly money i.e I put a 15 year old ecler mixer on and it made about £60-70 I wouldn't have give a quid for it!
so what I'll do from now on is put on dj bids & see what happens then if it don't sell I'll try fleabay, the only thing that worrys me (and I dare say I'm not the first to mention it?) is there dosen't seem a lot of people listing on Dj bids! but I suppose if no one's post's stuff no one gonna look!
and I was going to start a listing on Dj bids after chrismas for the custom built stuff anyway

Seriously, I can understand why you are so annoyed, but it's probably how this fella makes his living (buying and selling on). As you say, nothing you can do about it, as he's technically done nothing wrong (with the exception of incorrectly quoting the price of the horns).

But it's DJing gear.....and i think people know what they want or are after....don't think you will be taken for a mug on that score.......might be wrong......:)
Is the money in the post guys / girls.....:D

The plus side, if it doesn't sell, then you haven't lost anything - since you can list for free on DJ Bids..... so what have you got to lose except 5 minutes of your time?

on the double account front.. I believe.. after reading through the rules a couple of days ago.. that it is allowed as long as there is no bidding etc between the two accounts.

but if you dont put a reserve how can you grumble?
i often buy stuff to sell on- nothing wrong with it- nothing wrong with using different accounts too.
its not nice but he hasnt done anything wrong.

i agree with the above thoughts.
a lot of people do it to make some money.. and whilst you may not agree with it... it's just how things work on there =)

I have no problem with people making a living, but when they come posing as a "Dj & I'm just starting up" then I do have a problem, I don't lie to people & don't expect people to lie to me, believe me this is not about money or I wouldn't have started it at such a low price!
As I said we all live & learn!
but surely if you had opened it up as a bidding thing with a low starting price... anyone could have bid anyway..
