After many years enjoying my DJM 500 it has had to go to the big mixer in the sky due to a nasty power surge which has blow it to pieces and is now, sadly, unrepairable and Pioneer don't do parts for it anymore (circuit boards etc). So I cheered myself up by picking up the new DJM 700 which came out a few weeks ago. It's not cheap but it's very nice....
The effects are it's strength although now with midi support and some nice layout teaks it's a very tasty piece of kit. Had it out last night for the first time and had some great fun with the effects.
